How Die-Struck Pins Are Made and Who Orders Them
Die-struck pins are all-metal lapel pins. A steel die stamps your design into a metal sheet. There is no enamel color. The design shows through raised and sunken metal only. This gives a quiet, formal look that suits corporate use.
Most buyers here are companies, schools, and clubs. A bank may order collar pins for front-line staff. A school may order house pins. Uniform teams like them. One metal tone sits well against any shirt colour.
Base Metal, Plating and Finish Choices
Iron metal is the default base and keeps costs low. Zinc alloy is an upgrade. It holds fine detail better. Six platings follow. Antique gold, antique silver and antique nickel are free. Matt gold, matt silver and matt nickel cost S$0.15 each.
Sandblast Contrast and Epoxy Coating
A sandblast effect roughens the sunken metal. The raised parts stay smooth and shiny. That contrast is what makes the design pop, and it is free. An epoxy coating adds a clear dome on top for S$0.25 each.
Pin Sizes and Backing Options for Daily Wear
Six sizes run from 0.75 inch (19.1 mm) to 2.25 inch (57.2 mm). One inch is the common pick for a lapel or collar. Go larger for award pins, where the design must be seen across a room.
Butterfly clutch and rubber clutch backings are free. Rubber grips better, so pins stay put on a busy event day. A safety pin costs S$0.30. Magnet backings cost S$0.25 to S$0.75 and hold the pin without piercing the fabric.
Artwork, Packaging and Gift Presentation
Send us your logo, and we will prepare the artwork. You get a free mockup first. Nothing goes into production until you approve it. Simple, bold shapes work best. The pin has no color to carry the design.
Polybag packaging is free. A plastic box or valor pouch costs S$0.75 each. A valor box costs S$1.25. Boxes are available for award pins and corporate gifts. Paper backing cards are also available in two sizes.
Quantities and How to Order in Singapore
Orders start at 10 pieces, and the unit price drops as the quantity rises. Ten pieces work out at S$19.80 each. At 100 pieces, the rate falls to S$2.67, and larger runs go lower again.
